Beauty has a problem. There’s a huge demand for ingredients like Mica (What gives make-up its shimmer), Shea Butter and Vanilla, but their sourcing is often linked to slavery, exploitation and child labour.
So, to highlight the issue, I wrote a dark comedy script and OOH assets for Thumbstoppers new campaign: Shady Beauty.
We created a fake beauty product launch to raise awareness of just how shady the industry’s sourcing methods really is.
